"'You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions." Joseph Pilates creator of Pilates

At Core Balance Pilates, we focus on movement re-education as well as fitness so you reach your fitness goals while developing a more coordinated and efficient use of your body. Pilates is a low-impact training method developed by Joseph Pilates that promotes coordination of mind, body, and breath through conscious movement. Pilates exercises focus on the deep core muscles that support your posture and movement to create a more balanced body.

The Pilates apparatus refers to the Pilates equipment: Mat, Spinal Corrector, and special spring loaded equipment (Reformer, Tower, Chair). The equipment facilitates movement to allow you to exercise at a safe level for your body. Pilates apparatus allows you to exercise and progress your fitness program in a safe way if you are struggling with recurrent or new injuries.
